How can QEC help me?

QEC brings the experience of dis-ease back to ease
Understanding Trauma
Trauma is a word that gets used a lot lately—personal, collective, and intergenerational. The truth is that most of us have unresolved trauma due to early life stress, painful losses, and life challenges.
The most common childhood traumas are largely unknown, unrecognized, undiagnosed, and consequently untreated. Yet, they are stored in our subconscious mind and dictate our lives. As young infants, we need the presence of an emotionally available, nurturing parent for our development. Due to the stresses in our environment, a parent is often physically present but emotionally absent, which can be very damaging over time.
While you may not consider yourself as having experienced trauma, that’s not to say your mind and body aren’t treating your experiences as such. We all process things differently, and while there are no objective criteria to determine which events, big or small, will cause symptoms of trauma, the common responses are the same.
Exposure to trauma, whether physical, mental, or emotional, can have long-term detrimental effects on your health and well-being, holding you back from living your best possible life.
A dysregulated nervous system often stems from experiences in early childhood. Trauma is stored in the subconscious mind, and our body acts as a recording device, playing back whatever it experienced. Because of this dysregulation, our other systems - immune, endocrine, lymphatic, digestive, and cardiovascular - are compromised.
Regulating the autonomic nervous system back to optimal balance over QEC sessions results in being at ease, feeling calm and balanced, having more clarity, and enjoying better health, to name some.
To alleviate and possibly reverse the psychological, neurological, and biochemical impact of trauma, doing the work is essential.
The good news is: it’s so much easier to face these than to carry trauma and its responses all your life.
